The people of m i m are (re)creating what we call "living history".
Each of us embodies a role in a fictive household or an inhabitant or citizen and present them with equipment, period clothing and matching accessories.
But it also includes the knowledge of daily tasks and the skills to manufacture a large amount of the equipment that we use.
All our garments are made according to historical crafts and after intense study of sources by the members of m i m.

nobility/clergy

In medieval society, the nobility took the lead with the clergy, and while the nobility led the secular affairs, the clergy led the spiritual. High-ranking clerics were often of nobility, as it was common for the non-firstborn sons of nobles to take the clerical route.

Urban citizens

The urban citizens are another part of medieval society. The urban bourgeoisie gained more and more influence in the course of the 14th century and the late Middle Ages, and finally threatened the estates of the nobility more and more, although nobles also took city citizenship.

tenants / un-free peasants

The state of the tenents, non-free peasants, maids etc. makes up most of the medieval society. They were often heavily attached to a region by their masters, and in the event of their loss of employment to the martini holiday on 11/11 threatened them with an uncertain future.
